Flame Skull

March 2nd, 2012 by

This painting was created by the artist at an airbrush class at the Blair School of Art in Blair, South Carolina. It is based on an image created by the instructor, Dru Blair. As such, this image is not unique and Dru is continuing to use this flame skull or variations on this in his classes. (The Blair School or Art website is www.airbrushworkshops.com) The original is on a metal panel and measures approximately 17.5 x 11.5 inches.  Offered for sale is the original and prints at the following sizes: 17.5 x 11.5 inches (open edition print), 35 x 23 inches, and 52 x 38 inches (limited edition of 10 each at medium and large size.)

Prints will be signed and numbered by the artist. Price includes shipping within the continental U.S.  Please note that the enlarged print shows imperfections not seen in the smaller prints.  In addition, the flames lose some detail and look more impressionistic rather than photorealistic.
